About PJ
Welcome to Double Latte Mama’s Blog! My name is PJ Kaiser (aka @doublelattemama on Twitter) and I am a writer. I mostly write fiction, but this is my nonfiction blog with essays on various topics. I post sporaidically on this blog about parenting, education, fun things to do with kids or whatever else pops into my mind – nothing is considered to be off-topic. So, fix yourself a double latte and relax for awhile.
Please leave comments – I love to hear from readers! Note that I moderate comments so they won’t appear immediately. I hope that you like what you’ll see and that you’ll join me in whatever way is comfortable for you – either adding me to your reader, following me on Twitter, joining me on Google Friends (see sidebar) or “liking” my Facebook page.
By the way, you can find a variety of short fiction and audio recordings over at “Inspired By Real Life.” I also write about infertility issues over at “High FSH Info.”
ps You can also send me an email.

Double Latte Mama (aka PJ)
More about me … I hope this will begin to answer some questions you may have – who is this gal and why does she like double lattes?
I live in Hoboken, New Jersey and have been happily married for fifteen years and we have two great kids – our son is four years old and our daughter is two years old. Since growing up in Ohio, I have reached New Jersey by way of Columbus, OH, Chicago, IL, and Mexico City (yes, the one in Mexico). I am a stay-at-home mom and have enjoyed a variety of previous careers – the most lucrative of which was working in information technology. Others which were more fun (but less lucrative) include teaching piano, working as a volunteer coordinator at an orphanage, doing grant writing for a university, and serving on the board of a small foundation.
So, hopefully that addresses the first question. As for the last one – I can only say that double lattes are delicious, easy when done in my new Tassimo, and they are extra special when you add a bit of vanilla syrup. Not to mention the importance of the role that caffeine plays in allowing me to fit in everything i need to and want to accomplish each day.
Thanks for reading and welcome aboard!
Where else can you find me?
